[Shenzhen News Network] The Shenshan Cooperation Zone Wins Two Major Awards at the 22nd China Hi-Tech Fair

A reporter learned from the Science, Technology Innovation, and Economic Services Bureau of Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone (referred to as "Shantou-Shenzhen Cooperation Zone") that at the recently concluded 22nd China International High-Tech Fair (referred to as "CHTF"), the Shantou-Shenzhen Cooperation Zone showcased 13 companies this year. The zone was proudly awarded both the Outstanding Organization Award and the Outstanding Exhibition Award at this year’s CHTF. Additionally, a product project from Shenzhen Shantou Special Cooperation Zone Tianying Brothers Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Tianying Brothers") won the prestigious "Outstanding Product Award."

It is understood that this year's China Hi-Tech Fair is themed "Technology Transforms Lives, Innovation Drives Development." A total of 3,349 exhibitors participated, showcasing 9,018 high-tech projects—among which 1,790 were new products and 767 represented groundbreaking technologies making their debut. The event attracted 451,000 visitors in person.

The Shenzhen-Shantou Cooperation Zone's Science and Technology Cluster, themed "Innovative Smart Manufacturing City: Industry Fusion for the Future," focuses on cutting-edge fields such as robotics, artificial intelligence, new technologies, and advanced materials. It highlights the innovative technologies and products of Shenshan Bay Robotics Town and outstanding high-tech enterprises within the zone, showcasing in full the remarkable achievements made in recent years by the Shenzhen-Shantou Cooperation Zone’s high-tech industry development.

Household robot vacuums, mini-robot assistants acting as shopping guides, and agricultural drones used for pesticide spraying—these diverse robotic and AI-driven products were a major highlight and unique feature of the Shenzhen-Shantou Cooperation Zone’s technology delegation at this year’s High-Tech Fair. In addition, cutting-edge materials like AR optical array waveguide products, crystal oscillators, high-temperature alloys, and LCD display modules, along with smart manufacturing solutions, also drew significant attention.

At the event, the Tianying Brothers S16 agricultural drone—winner of the "Excellent Product Award"—became a standout "star product," drawing significant attention and enthusiasm from attendees. According to statistics, over 20,000 visitors toured the Shenzhen-Shantou Cooperation Zone’s booth during the High-Tech Fair. Meanwhile, more than 500 industry-leading companies and organizations expressed their interest in collaborating with the exhibiting firms.

Speaking about the award they recently received, Xiao Yan, a senior official from Tianying Brothers, expressed deep gratitude to the Shenshan Cooperation Zone for providing the platform to showcase their technology and for their strong endorsement. She also emphasized that the company will continue relentlessly pursuing technological innovation in smart drone solutions, leveraging cutting-edge science and technology to serve agriculture, rural areas, and farmers—and ultimately driving high-quality development of the new city.

Currently, the Shenzhen-Shantou Cooperation Zone is diligently implementing the instructions and directives of Municipal Party Secretary Wang Weizhong and Mayor Chen Rugui. The zone continues to seize the significant historical opportunity presented by the "Dual Zone" strategy, focusing on driving development through industry while proactively pursuing high-quality growth. It is actively working to establish itself as a key hub for strategic emerging industries and an extension of Shenzhen's independent innovation initiatives. To date, 96 industrial projects have been allocated land across the zone, fostering robust industry clusters centered around electronic information, new materials, new energy, and intelligent manufacturing. Meanwhile, construction of the nation's largest "Robotics Town" is also gaining momentum.
