    In aerial spraying operation, what pesticides to use and how to apply them affect greatly on the result. Improper pesticide application might
    decrease crop yield or even cause fatal damages to the crop. Therefore, acquiring better plant protection knowledge is helpful to improve pesticide application effects and vital to prevent damages on crops.

    Here are some useful tips concluded by Eagle Brother's plant protection experts and unmanned aircraft spraying pilots.
     
    1. Sensitive pesticides: antiviral and bactericidal pesticides are high sensitive pesticides that tend to cause phytotoxicity when applied at a high-concentration. For example, tebuconazole, imidate and insecticidal pesticides are absolutely prohibited to apply at a traditional dosage when sprayed by an agricultural drone. Strongly recommend to decrease the volume by 20-30% less than traditional sprayer dosage.
     
    2. Sensitive crops: vegetables are sensitive to hight concentration pesticides during seedling stage. It's better to do small area application test
    before expanding the operation on large fields. In additional, cow pea is highly sensitive to pesticides and recommended prohibition from aerial spraying service.
     
    3. High breeding pests are hard to control if applies pesticides at a regular way. Adjusting pesticide application volume and frequency is often a better solution according to different periods. For example, you can spray for 3 to 5 days at prevention period and increase the volume at its outbreak period.
     
    4. Wettable powder is also hard to handle at aerial spraying operation. Please avoid mixing the powder with emulsifiable oil to avoid high concentration of liquid or insoluble conditions caused high burden of the pump and jamming of the nozzles. Please put the powder on the tank filter and shake to test if it leaks easily throught the filter. If not, please refer to alternative pesticides that fit for drone spraying operation.
     
    5. Please dilute different pesticides at two steps when spraying pesticides mixture to avoid chemical reaction caused low effect, crystallization, or damages on crops. Please dilute every kinds of pesticides with 5 - 10 times of water, and then mix them together and dilute the mixture again to suitable concentration for aerial spraying service.
